Asset Wisdom was delighted to attend the Chartered Institute of Housing’s Annual Conference at Manchester Central on the 28th – 30th of June.
It was a highly successful event with a range of organisations, housing specialists, and over 450 guest speakers. Thousands of people attended the event from various professional backgrounds and job roles within the housing sector. The three-day event focussed on some key topic areas and challenges that are currently being faced within the housing sector.
Andy Nutter, our Key Account and Business Development Manager, was at the event representing Asset Wisdom and showcasing our Asset Management “Learning Journey” for the Housing Sector. As an internationally recognised provider of online learning in Asset Management, the “Learning Journey” has been developed by Asset Wisdom in collaboration with CAMs. Andy and representatives from CAMs were on hand to answer questions and discuss the eLearning that Asset Wisdom offer and its importance and place within the housing sector.
The event provided a key opportunity to speak with people working directly within the housing sector and understand some of the challenges faced within the sector during the current climate.
The Asset Management “Learning Journey” for the Housing Sector comprises:
- An informative introduction video
- A detailed and informative certificate course specifically designed for the housing sector that is recognised by the Institute of Asset Management and externally validated by CPD
- An exam-ready workshop
- IAM Examination Voucher
This “Learning Journey” has been developed to specifically assist and guide those working within the sector to develop and guide a better understanding of asset management and how it can help drive efficiencies and staff retention. It provides context that is exclusive to the housing sector, allowing learners to directly link the learning to their professional working environment.
With the current challenges facing the housing sector, the need for strong asset management knowledge and strategy are required for businesses and organisations now more than ever.
We attended the conference to promote and inform the housing sector about effective asset management and how it can be used throughout the sector. We are pleased to say that it was well-received with great interest shown.
The 2022 Housing Conference provided an excellent opportunity to develop relationships and meet with key people and organisations within the housing sector and we look forward to working with both new and existing organisations.
