Making asset wisdom widespread
“We put people at the heart of asset management globally.”
“We’ve great learning”
We kicked off in 2012 with the creation of a portfolio of asset management e-learning modules and webinars that enable people to gain asset wisdom on an ‘anytime, anywhere’ basis.
We branded it as:
Some incorporate their branding, images and corporate messages into the learning. Some even add classroom and on-the-job training elements. All end up with certified learning at a fraction of the cost of traditional learning.
“We’ve great learning solutions”
In 2013, we wrapped consultancy services around our learning so as to provide a Total Learning Solution to our clients. It’s available directly from us or through our partners.
“We’ve great partners”
In 2014, with the launch of the international ISO 55000 Asset Management (AM) Standard, we started creating a global network of partners who would offer our services alongside theirs. Currently, we have around six. Some are niche players while others are industry giants with global reach.
They include consultancies, engineering service companies, an insurance company and a couple of learning academies.
Together, we offer AM services to ISO55k standards to sectors new to ‘whole life, whole systems’ principles: highways, housing and health are just a few examples. Recently, we became the first company to be awarded BSI Associate Consultant status so we can now help clients achieve ISO55k Accreditation.
Wisdom and Systems
Research repeatedly shows that, if AM transformations are to be successful, asset wisdom needs to be embedded alongside the development and rollout of AM Systems.
Our partners typically focus on the systems side, utilising our cost-efficient learning packages to give staff the competence, confidence and commitment to embrace and successfully embed AM.
In this short video, Chris Bradley, Asset Wisdom’s Director of Commercial & Product Development explains why asset management is more that just the policies and paperwork.
A Better World
With our partners, we’re helping public and private sector organisations achieve their business goals more effectively and more sustainably.
As AM becomes more widespread, it’s great to know that the world’s resources are being used more responsibly.
Together, we can make asset wisdom widespread.
If you’re involved in developing an AM transformation journey or wish to explore the possibility of partnering with us, we’d love to hear from you.

Working with you
We like to say, “Working with you, not just for you.” This applies to our clients and partners. We see it as essential for AM journeys to be fast, efficient and effective. Through working together, costs can be reduced and opportunities can be created to do new and better things.
Asset Wisdom Empowerment
Contrary to most people’s assumptions, the biggest challenge in AM isn’t the ‘hard stuff’: policies, systems and plans. It’s the ‘soft stuff’: overcoming die-hard ways, silo thinking and a fear of change.
The key to success is asset wisdom empowerment: giving staff asset management knowledge so that they are competent and confident and throw their weight behind the move towards the sustainable use of assets.
Get it right and staff will be happier, customers will be better served and ROI will rise.
Governments and organisations like The World Bank are pushing the AM Agenda. They’re also prioritising funding to those who can demonstrate they’re applying AM principles.
Many national and global companies have been finding ways of making it happen and the arrival of the ISO55k Standard sets out an internationally recognised framework.
The call for asset wisdom is now urgent.
The great news for suppliers is that, as clients move to longer term strategies, longer term contracts are often offered. This can seriously increase margins. If AM isn’t on your agenda, it should be.
Our key skills lie in asset management, learning and partnership working.
